Looking back on this wedding, writing this in Spring, good ol’ Laura really keeping up to date with the blogging (whoops!), I can’t get over how lucky we were with the light at this wedding! We got a killer sunset, which brought out all the gold and red tones from the wedding. We shot at the fantastic St. Ives in the midlands. It was our first time shooting at this stunning venue, and we can’t wait to do many more there! Their property is a photographer’s paradise! There were rolling hills, wild life, dams, forests and the best view of the sunset. One day when I get my Jimny (some of you guys who listen and read my dribble know how badly I want a Suzuki Jimny!!) we will be able to drive our couples right up to the top of the property of St. Ives and really make the best of that sunset again.
So Lauren and Damien met at a wedding, she was a bridesmaid and he was a groomsman. Seven years later, and here we are, at their own wedding! It felt like we were part of a real life rom-com! These two share such a special love for each other, one that is tender and carefully nurtured. A kind of love that you can see has been growing from strength to strength over years. What a privilege to be a part of this day. Lots of love to you both!!
